Fact sheet
| Name | Flipbox |
| What it is | A premium bring-your-own-playlist IPTV player: the user supplies an M3U playlist URL or Xtream Codes login from a service they already pay, and Flipbox turns it into a full television experience. |
| What it is not | A content service. Flipbox ships zero channels, zero channel lists, zero provider links — permanently. It is a neutral player, the way a browser is a neutral window. |
| Platform | iPhone and iPad (iOS) |
| Availability | App Store, autumn 2026 |
| Price | Free tier · Pro US$3.99/month · US$24.99/year with 7-day free trial · US$69.99 lifetime, launching at a US$49.99 founding price. Regional pricing applies. |
| Free tier | 1 playlist, live TV with instant zapping, 3-hour guide depth, first favourite list, cleanup preview, parental controls, backup & restore. Published commitment: the free tier never shrinks. |
| Key features | Full EPG timeline grid with guide search (24-hour depth on Pro) · sub-second zapping with in-player surf overlay and number tuning · one-tap cleanup collapsing duplicate HD/FHD/4K channel variants (a real 17,000-channel test list becomes ~8,600 actual channels) · Xtream Codes, M3U/M3U8, and local-file sources · movies & series library with posters and continue-watching · named favourite lists · catch-up playback of streams the user's provider exposes · automatic failover between playlists (SmartSwitch) · line health & outage diagnosis · parental PIN with category locks and kids classifier · local backup/restore (passwords never included). |
| Privacy | No accounts, no analytics, no tracking SDKs. App Privacy label: Data Not Collected. Playlist credentials and viewing history remain on the device. |
| Trust commitments | No ads ever · no tracking ever · purchases fail open (a failed receipt check never demotes a paying user) · the free tier never shrinks. |

Founder line
Attributable to Ghaleb El Masri, founder, Sixteen Mile Ventures Inc.:
“People in this category have been trained to expect betrayal — ads that appear after you pay, features that move behind new paywalls, apps that vanish. Flipbox is built on the opposite bet: no ads ever, no tracking ever, purchases fail open, and the free tier never shrinks. We ship no content at all — just the best player we can make for the subscription you already have.”

Facts writers ask about
Can we say “Flipbox lets you watch TV channels”?
Only with the second half attached: Flipbox plays the channels from the user's own subscription. The app contains none. Accurate short form: “Flipbox plays your own M3U or Xtream playlist.” We'd rather lose a headline than blur that line.
Is there a review build?
TestFlight access for press opens ahead of launch — write to support@flipbox.app with your outlet and device.
Ratings, downloads, testimonials?
None to cite yet — the app is unreleased, and we don't invent numbers. Anything quantitative on this page (the 17,000→8,600 cleanup figure, guide depths, prices) is a product fact, current as published here.
What's the founding price, exactly?
The lifetime unlock's standing price is US$69.99; it launches at US$49.99 for early buyers, and the step up will be announced in advance. Monthly (US$3.99) and annual (US$24.99, 7-day trial) are unaffected.
